Question by .: I'm trying to compose an orchestral piece, but my midi playback is absolutely terrible...?
I've written parts of an orchestral piece, but whenever I try to replicate what it would sound like (so I can see if all the parts fit properly), I have to use a midi file. This is terrible; the electronic sounds it produces are no substitute for the actual instruments (sounds rather like an ensemble of various-pitched accordions). The best I can do is to play parts on my viola or piano,
