Is it possible to stream MIDI from one 'master' computer to another computer on a LAN?
Have both types WAV and MIDI. The WAV are the ones I would really like to stream.

Answer by Master_Of_The_WebWell streaming various music files is easy using winamp, shoutcast and the shoutcast DSP plugin. However, you would need to either convert the MIDI files to M4A, MP3 etc or find an applicable DLL to help you out.

I borrowed a Carillon eControl 61 keyboard from a friend to us to input into sibelius 6 on my imac, but nothing is happening.
I dont know anything about midi controllers/keyboards, but just want a simple keyboard to input notes. It is powered by the usb cable and that is all that is connected. The mac doesn't even know its there. HELP please, i have to give it back soon. thanks

- All the Professional programs are made for Macs, not PC's (Adobe, Macromedia, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, etc.)
- Most of the other programs have Mac versions
- My Mac is faster than any PC i've sat down at (except a few

I have a Yamaha PSS-170 which I do not believe support MIDI. I was wondering if it's possible to use some sort of adapter through the headphone jack that can transfer the sound to MIDI. I particularly want to use this keyboard with Rockband 3 if possible.

The Timbuk2 seems like it'd be a bit snug with the laptop compartment but it holds a surprising amount - the above doesn't come close to filling it up, still lots of empty and underutilized pockets.

Hello. I was wondering if there was any controller or some way to automate a midi track so it starts doing an action when I start recording on Pro Tools. For example, I press REC, and as soon as it starts recording, the note C2 is activated and it gets desactivated as soon as I stop the recording. Is that possible? I'd really appreciate if anybody can help me with this. Thanks!

Fortunately I had a stylus that works satisfactory. This medium is better suiting to quick sketching at best right now.

NI Maschine playing Rock Band 3 - Pro Mode Drums
Meh... the video is kind of jumpy as the TV is doing 60fps, but my shitty Lifecam only does 15fps. I have a song I'd like to play live, and it involves a MIDI track played underneath guitar, bass and drums. Our drummer needs a click track playing in sync with the MIDI track to keep him drumming in time. It needs to be setup that the audience can only hear the MIDI track, but the drummer can hear the MIDI track and the click track.
Can anyone recommend a device, setup, etc.
