My new Toshiba Satellite A135-S4499 is a great computer and has more than enough power and capability for music audio recording, and is running Windows Vista Ultimate, but the Cakewalk and Cubase programs won't fully function. Me and the music store people we tried everything we can think of, to no avail. I can't get a meter level in the audio portion of the program, even though my Prosonus Firestudio

The M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 is kind of a conundrum. Even though it adds "Pro" to its title, its features actually make things a lot easier for the user. Shouldn't it be geared towards the novice? And shouldn't actual professionals have to prove their worth by using MIDI controllers that shock them if they play the wrong note?

Mixcraft 5 MINI Tip - How To Setup And Use MIDI and Virtual Instruments

This was a test scene. I used heavy studio tripod with fixed ball head. Canon EF 5 D M II, remote trigger, studio strobes. I compensate for exposure by adding more light, but as this wasn't really precise, I had to adjust exposure in LR slightly. White Balance were adjusted by spider cube. For Samyang tests I had to re-install the camera, so composition is very slightly different.

I have an opportunity to buy a Mbox 1 with pro tools LE 8.0.2. However I'm not sure if they will both run on my windows 7 Home Premium which is 64bit.

I can plug it in the computer fine, and can record and play back through cubase, I was just wondering if there was a cheap way to have it play sounds without a computer. What is the cheapest way of doing this? Thanks! :D
