pro tools 8 with external usb midi?

Question by kera: pro tools 8 with external usb midi?
hi im planning on getting a Mbox mini with pro tools 8 but i wondered if its possible to connect a midi keyboard with usb instead of directly plugging it in the sound card because the mini has no midi in or out.
or do i have to buy the Mbox to use midi ?
