Cant connect midi keyboard?

Question by pianoman: Cant connect midi keyboard?
I borrowed a Carillon eControl 61 keyboard from a friend to us to input into sibelius 6 on my imac, but nothing is happening.

I dont know anything about midi controllers/keyboards, but just want a simple keyboard to input notes. It is powered by the usb cable and that is all that is connected. The mac doesn't even know its there. HELP please, i have to give it back soon. thanks
