How to automate a midi event that activates when I start recording on PT?

Question by reansm: How to automate a midi event that activates when I start recording on PT?
Hello. I was wondering if there was any controller or some way to automate a midi track so it starts doing an action when I start recording on Pro Tools. For example, I press REC, and as soon as it starts recording, the note C2 is activated and it gets desactivated as soon as I stop the recording. Is that possible? I'd really appreciate if anybody can help me with this. Thanks!
