Here's what i'm looking for. I have a midi piano keyboard across the room from my desk where my computer is located. In order to connect my keyboard to my computer for recording I need to use a long usb cable. This is a bit of an inconvenience because every time i'm finished recording I need to unplug the usb cable from my piano to prevent the cable from being damaged (ex. people walking on the cable).
