I am just starting with MIDI- I understand the theories of it, but am very new to the practice. I have an Axiom 25 key controller plugged into a Yamaha interface, that goes through firewire to Cubase SX3 where I use mostly the free VST instruments. When I play/record/playback, I get noises that sound like pops and scratches on audio. This leads me to three possible conclusions; either the computer is
