Q&A: How would I go about using multiple MIDI instruments in GarageBand?

Question by TJ M: How would I go about using multiple MIDI instruments in GarageBand?
I need the ability to play multiple MIDI instruments at once for a project I am working on (such as using a computer keyboard, regular MIDI keyboard, Rock Band guitar, etc recording at the same time). I'm pretty positive GB can do this, but I don't have enough MIDI experience to know. Although if GarageBand isn't able to, is there another program I could use?
