What is the difference between Pro Tools 8LE and Pro Tools 9?

Question by Big Jim: What is the difference between Pro Tools 8LE and Pro Tools 9?
Im thinking about.buying a Digidesign Mbox2 that comes with Pro Tools 8 LE. But I saw that Mbox 3 comes with Pro Tools 9, but is $ 300 more. Is it worth the money to get the mbox3 package or will Pro Tools 8 LE be good enough to do my home recording?
