Q&A: Digital Piano to Midi (on a computer)?

Question by beckyamcallister: Digital Piano to Midi (on a computer)?
I have a Willams Digital piano with USB Midi connector.. but I cannot find how to record to my computer. I plug in the USB adapter and the computer 'sees' it, but when I try and do a sound recording, it doesn't record. Do I need special software to transfer my playing to the computer? If so, can you recommend 'inexpensive' software (free is nice too) that isn't too complicated. I don't need major mixers..
