Cubase Studio 5 is glitching/popping?

Question by : Cubase Studio 5 is glitching/popping?
When I'm doing sequencing on Cubase Studio 5 it is constantly glitching on playback.

Is the problem that I don't have enough RAM/high enough Processor Speed?
I have 3Gb of RAM and a 2.1GHz proccessing speed.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated :)
