Will Pro Tools run on Windows XP Pro?

Question by DJ Astro: Will Pro Tools run on Windows XP Pro?
I have a machine with a single Quad-core Xeon processor, 2 GB RAM, and about 150 GB HD space running Windows XP Pro, SP3 with all the updates for IE8, etc. and was wondering if it could handle Pro Tools. I currently run Audacity, a freeware, and our band has exceded the needs that Audacity can handle and we are looking into getting Pro Tools, but our studio has PCs.
